Course Overview
Our new and improved BIA Legal Update training package now comes in two versions − The Plus Package and The Standard Package.
The Plus Package:
This consists of 5 essential modules as well as a bonus sixth module. This final module includes an infinitely customisable BIA audit tool, designed to help you structure your Form 3 reports to ensure that they are compliant.
All training videos are included, along with a workbook to help you to track your progress and build a comprehensive portfolio. This package offers 8 hours of CPD.
The workbook tasks encourage you to examine your case history and have been designed to expand and consolidate your knowledge.
The Standard Package
This course − offering 6-8 hours of CPD — gives you full access to the video content and workbook activities for modules 1-5. As with the Plus Package, you are able to complete this at your own pace, while consolidating your knowledge through completion of carefully structured tasks that encourage you to reflect upon your own past practice.
Both courses will help you continue to develop the skills necessary to obtain, evaluate and analyse complex evidence and differing views. You will learn how to weigh them appropriately in decision making. The course will help you meet your statutory duties and allow you to continue to practice as a BIA. There will be a discussion of the ramifications of the April 2023 announcement about the Liberty Protection Safeguards.
