Professionals are often required to chair and co-ordinate safeguarding meetings. It’s therefore essential they understand this role, to enable them to convene and chair successfully, and to maintain a level of confidence and competence to achieve positive outcomes for the client.
This practical, structured two-day Chairing Safeguarding Meetings course will help delegates understand what’s required when convening and chairing safeguarding strategy meetings and case conferences.
It will give delegates a full understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures, and supply guidance on supporting the process to ensure positive outcomes.
They will learn best practice in undertaking risk assessments and devising appropriate protection plans while using a client focused approach.
