Sarah has had a court based legal career. She worked for the Crown Prosecution Service prior to reading Law at Southampton University. Upon graduating with an LLB, she worked as a Court Clerk at the Bromley County Court before doing her 2 years’ solicitor’s training with Hempsons and subsequently working as a solicitor in their Healthcare department. During her time at Hempsons, Sarah was fortunate enough to attend numerous Court hearings in both the Civil and Criminal jurisdictions to include hearings at the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords. She has also attended inquests and disciplinary hearings at both the General Medical Council and the General Dental Council. She left Hempsons to work in house at the NHSLA focusing entirely on the defence of clinical negligence claims. Sarah left the NHSLA to be a full time mother to her three children.
