Lord Woolf, one of the most eminent members of the judiciary of the past 50 years, will give his assessment of the impact on experts of the Civil Procedure Rules that came into force twenty years ago this year.

Kathryn Clague, who works closely with Bond Solon in the Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate, will set all the changes in the law over the past twelve months that are relevant to expert witnesses.
- Lessons from the non-expert Andrew Ager
Narita Bahra QC was the lawyer who through diligent research and thorough cross examination revealed that Andrew Agar, who had given evidence is some twenty previous trails, was not capable of giving expert opinion evidence.
- The judges' view of experts’ oral evidence
Sir David Foskett was a senior judge for many years and gives his thoughts and advise on how experts can best present their oral evidence. Oral evidence is perhaps the most daunting area of an expert’s work and the any practical advice is valuable.
Lord Justice Gross, Court of Appeal, will be the keynote speaker for this year's conference. Lord Justice Gross presided the Court of Appeal that handed down the long-awaited judgment in the case of Pabon  EWCA Crim 420 – the LIBOR appeal. This judgment highlighted the misconduct of an expert witness who, in the words of Lord Justice Gross, “failed to comply with their basic duties as an expert.”
