Laurent De Surgeloose - DLA Piper
Laurent De Surgeloose is an employment lawyer. He has broad experience in labour, employment and social security law.
Laurent is particularly known for advising clients on corporate transactions and restructurings, including transfer of undertakings, collective dismissals and plant closures.
He is highly skilled in handling sensitive corporate investigations, in- and outsourcing projects (particularly involving labour leasing issues), as well as in handling compensations and benefits topics.
Laurent holds a postgraduate degree in pension laws from KU Leuven. He has a broad experience in handling complex pension matters.
He also handles litigation before employment tribunals and courts in Belgium (both in the Flemish and French speaking part of the country).
Laurent regularly publishes articles in Trends Magazine, Belgium's most influential business magazine.
