The Speakers:

Tim Lawson – McCarthy Tétrault 

In January 2014, Tim became a Partner at McCarthy Tétrault's Toronto Labour and Employment Group. With over two decades of experience, he specialises in advising management on labour and employment law, particularly for federally regulated employers. Tim's practice encompasses strategic labour and employment advice, labour negotiations, and advocacy, as well as corporate reorganisation, construction labour, and human and privacy rights. He regularly represents employers before various administrative tribunals, including labour relations boards, boards of arbitration, human rights tribunals, and workers' compensation boards, as well as in Ontario and federal courts. Additionally, he offers strategic advice on corporate restructuring, management/union relations, collective bargaining, construction law, and privacy rights.

Recognised as a leading labour and employment practitioner by The Best Lawyers in Canada 2014, Tim frequently speaks at legal conferences and to employer organisations on relevant topics.

 

Kimberly Lennon

Kimberly Lennon is an associate lawyer in the firm’s Labour and Employment Group in Toronto. She is committed to fostering positive and trusting client relationships while providing practical and business-minded advice.

Kimberly’s practice focuses on providing advice and representation to private and public sector employers in all areas of workplace law. Kimberly has provided advice on a range of areas including human rights, grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining, wrongful dismissal, employment standards, employment contracts, workplace policies and workplace investigations.

Prior to pursuing law school, she attended Brock University and graduated with a degree in Sport Management. Kimberly later earned her law degree from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University and was called to the Bar in 2021. Kimberly is a member of the Law Society of Ontario."
