The Speaker:

David Puente - Basham, Ringe y Correa

David is a partner at Basham, Ringe y Correa and specialises in collective and individual labour law, social security, litigation, and business advising.

He has extensive experience in collective bargaining, specialising in the automotive and electrical energy industries. He has been recognized for handling individual and collective litigation, as well as social security litigation.

He has been a lecturer in different associations and chambers of commerce in labour law matters. He has been Coordinator of the Labour Law Committee of the Mexican Bar of Lawyers in Monterrey.

He was President of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Monterrey. He was Coordinator of the Human Resources Committee of AMCHAM. He is coordinator of the Labour Committee of the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives.

Member of the International Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

He was an Expert Translator of the English-Spanish language, authorized by the Superior Court of Justice of the State of Nuevo León.

David is one of the country's most prominent labour and social security lawyers, with extraordinary recognition in the northern region and has been recognised by Chambers & Partners Latin America Band 2 and in Monterrey at Band 3, as well as in Legal 500, Who's Who Legal and Latin Lawyer 250.
