As an expert witness, it is essential that you keep up-to-date with the key legal cases that affect your role.
This video recording provides you with a comprehensive overview of the key cases and developments in relation to expert witnesses in the past 12 months, conveniently summarised in an 80-minute video.
If you are a medical expert witness, completing the Legal Update for Expert Witnesses for the current year will enable you to demonstrate that you are current and meeting the expert witness CPD training requirements introduced by the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges in May 2019.
This update was first presented at the 2023 Annual Bond Solon Expert Witness Conference. If you attended the conference you will already have access to the session recording via Swapcard.
Key Learning Outcomes:
The webinar includes civil, criminal and family cases involving expert witnesses. However, the general principles that flow from them, and the lessons learnt, will apply to all experts, regardless of which legal arena they operate in.
