The training is interactive and includes a number of scenarios which make the delegates consider the real-life issues they face in the workplace. The training also includes changes to RIPA as a result of the Investigatory Powers Act 2016.
Key learning points:

- What is directed surveillance?
- When does online research need to be authorised?
- When does surveillance become intrusive surveillance?
- What is a Covert Human Intelligence Source (CHIS)?
- What is communications data?
- How can communications data assist an investigation?
- When do we need judicial approval?
This course is run in partnership with our sister company The Training Consultants, one of the UK's most established suppliers of accredited intelligence training, spanning the whole spectrum of overt and covert activity.
