Successful negotiation skills can assist in both personal success, and in achieving organisational objectives.

This practical course is designed to give an understanding of the principles behind successful negotiation and to provide delegates with the key skills to enable them to negotiate effectively.

  • Recognise the preconditions for a successful negotiation
  • How to prepare for an effective negotiation including understanding your requirements and those of the other party
  • Understanding different negotiation models and when to use them
  • Making appropriate use of concessions and offers
  • How to break deadlock in a negotiation
