RIPA/RIP(S)A

Interception of communications, surveillance and the use of Covert Human Intelligence Sources (CHIS) must be carried out in accordance with Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA) 2000 and the Investigatory Powers Act (IPA) 2016.

Our practical investigatory powers training is designed to enable delegates to comply with RIPA and the IPA when planning, conducting or authorising activities regulated by the legislation. We also deliver sessions for other jurisdictions such as RIPSA in Scotland or RIPL for the Channel Islands.
